Story : Krishna Mohan, an NRI, comes to India to take over a rival firm and in the process, he falls in loves with Mahalakshmi, who also happens to be his colleague at workplace. The rest of the story is about how he realises that Mahalakshmi is his true love and wins over her heart
Movie Review : The film is based on a premise that when you have a deeper connection with someone, the universe finds a way to unite you, just like it happens in the case of Mahalakshmi and Krishna Mohan in the film. They are poles apart in almost everything, especially in their approach towards life; however, it's just a matter of time before they realise what, or rather whom, they have been yearning for all their life.
Quite early into the story, we are told that they are made for each other; however, they'll have to wait for more than 25 years for them to reunite and by then, the duo is poles apart. Krishna Mohan keeps nagging Mahalakshmi that she isn't modern enough for her boyfriend to take her seriously, whereas Mahalakshmi insists that she's fine with being old-fashioned, until she realises that she gets ditched by her lover Gopi (Sreedhar Rao). Eventually, this incident triggers Mahalakshmi to learn few tricks about love from Krishna Mohan and in the process, both of them realise that they are perfect for each other.
