Cast: Saptagiri, Sumanth Ashwin, Nandita, M S NarayanaDirection: HarinathGenre: RomanceDuration: 2 hours 15 minutes
The misogynist that he is, Suresh (Saptagiri) calls himself 'Magajathi animuthyam' (the jewel among men). The jewel, is actually a mentally ill patient. He beats up an army of women to pulp when he is brought out of the hospital in some strange circumstances. But then, he becomes the cause for romance between a boy and a girl bloom.
For the entire time that comedian Saptagiri occupies screen space during the second half, he makes the theatre come alive. The audience goes berserk, bang their seats and just can't stop laughing. The comedian could not asked for more. His talent completely overshadowed the rest of the artistes in the film, including the story. He can only thank the director for conceiving such a role for him.
Well now, here's the story if it really matters. Chitra Subramanyam (Nandita) is someone who will not live and let live. In her eyes, all men are flirts. So, she's on a mission, poisoning the minds of her friends and breaking their relationships with their boyfriends. The victim of Chitra's suspicious nature of boys is Siddu (Sumanth Ashwin). But Siddu who hasn't even met her, is not like her. He tries to help his friends find his love. And there is Chitra, bang in the picture all over again later. Irritated, disgusted, and furious, Siddu lays his hand on a sword and walks into the college to kill her. And stops.
