Demonte Colony is known to be one of the spookier parts of Chennai and is located in Alwarpet. The houses in the colony have been unoccupied for decades and stories surrounding the place give you the chills. Like the name suggests, Demonte Colony, the movie, is a story of the actual vacant colony.
Arulnithi stars in this horror movie which is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who used to be an assistant of AR Murugadoss. The shooting for this film began in the end of 2014 and things have been going good. The trailer released recently and the film is set to be out in February. The cinematographer for this film is Santhosh Sivan's assistant, Aravind Singh while the music is to be composed by famous guitar player, Keba Jeremiah
