Story: A bunch of amateur kidnappers, known as Gaddam Gang, decide to kidnap a politician's son and their plan goes haywire. And to make matters worse, a ruthless cop is appointed to hunt down the gang.
Movie Review: Gaddam Gang, a remake of a Tamil film, Soodhu Kavvum, is a black comedy which revolves around a bunch of amateur kidnappers who find themselves in deep trouble after their master plan goes haywire. While the film's original plot itself is brilliant to say the least, unfortunately, a lot of it is lost in translation.
The film has Dr. Rajasekhar as Daasu, the leader of the Gaddam gang, who ropes in three out-of-work youngsters - Ramesh (Satyam Rajesh), Suresh (Achu) and Pandu (Deepak), to help him to carry out his mission. Daasu sets five rules for the team to ensure that they remain out of trouble and the list includes - 1) No weapons 2) Never mess with from people in power 3) Never threaten to kill the victim 4) Must demand a ransom which is affordable to the victim's family, and 5) Don't try to be a hero. And it turns out, as they plan to kidnap one politician's son, they break every rule from the list. On top of it, Daasu has a psychological problem which makes him believe that he has a girlfriend Shailu (Sheena).
