There is a sentiment that whenever Balakrishna plays a dual role, the film will be a blocbuster. Most of the films in which Balayya played a dual role were highly successful. Recent examples are 'Lion' and 'Legend'. Now Balakrishna is once again playing a dual role in the movie 'Lion'.
After a huge success like 'Legend', everyone expected Balakrishna will work with a big director. But to the surprise of many, he gave chance to a new director named Satya Deva. Balakrishna is playing dual roles, Bose and Godse, in this film. In one role, he will be seen as a CBI officer.
Rudrapati Ramanarao,who is also just two films old, fulfilled his dream of working with his favourite hero Balayya with this movie. For the first time in her career, Trisha paired up with NBK and this is Radhika Apte's second film with the Nandamuri hero after 'Legend'.
Mani Sharma, the music composer of NBK's blocbuster films like 'Samarasimha Reddy', 'Lakshmi Narasimha', 'Narasimha Naidu' etc, composed music for this huge budgeted film
