One of the few female directors in Tamil Cinema, Madhumitha’s previous films are the Parthiban, Chaya Singh starrer ‘Vallamai Tharaayo’ which won the Tamil Nadu State Award for best family film and the comedy movie ‘Kola Kolaya Mundhirika’. After a five year gap, the director is back with a youthful entertainer titled ‘Moone Moonu Varthai’ which stars Arjun Chidambaram, Aditi Chengappa, Venkatesh Harinathan, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Lakshmi, M. S. Bhaskar, Nithin Sathya, Robo Shankar, Darshana and K. Bhagyaraj.
Music is by Karthikeya Murthy, Cinematography by Srinivasan Venkatesh, Editing by Kiran Kanti and ‘Moone Moonu Varthai’ is produced by S.P.B Charan under the banner Capital Film Works and is slated for release on the 26th of June 2015.
