Mirchi Lanti Kurradu Movie Review - 8/4/2015 9:39:10 AM
CAST: Abhijit Duddala, Rao Ramesh, Shakalaka Shankar, Pragya Jaiswal

STORY: Siddhu (Abhijit) is a happy-go-lucky lad who meets Vasundhara (Pragya). It is love at first sight for him and a little wooing later, she accepts his proposal. All is well until certain differences arise between the couple and they separate. As to how they set aside their differences and get back together forms the rest of the story.

REVIEW: The story is run of the mill and the screenplay is very predictable. There is nothing new about it. There are many seasoned comedians like Fish Venkat in the film but the comedy scenes lack the punch. Shakalaka Shankar is the only respite in the film as far as the comedy goes.
The first half is watchable but the second half could have been easily reduced a lot and Supreet is not convincing as a villain; despite his intimidating demeanor.
Coming to the performances; while Abhijit is the protagonist, it definitely seems as if Rao Ramesh is the one; as the seasoned actor delivered a really good performance in the film; though some of his dialogues in the film are cliched versions of 'younger generation is a decadent lot'. Abhijit, nevertheless did a decent job and has a high energy in the film.
