| Action has been taken against the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister Tukoji Rao Pawar who threatened to sack an administrative officer after she refused to cancel a rival candidates' nomination.
BJP's Pawar has now been booked for obstructing administrative work and intimidating an officer in her own office.
The MP had threatened to sack the officer for disobeying him.
The election commission has said they are taking the matter very seriously. They have also transferred the returning officer's boss, the Collector who did not act on the minister's misbehaviour.
