| Since Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is holding a constitutional post, he should be cautious while speaking, Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said on Wednesday after Prasad's diatribe against Varun Gandhi.
Swaraj said she was surprised at the 'language' used by RJD chief Prasad against its party's jailed candidate from Pilibhit, Varun Gandhi.
"Laluji is holding a constitutional post. He should mind his language," Swaraj said in reply to a query by scribes on Prasad's 'crushing Varun under a roller' remarks for his 'anti-Muslim' speeches in Pilibhit last month.
Asserting that the BJP was not 'anti-Muslim', Swaraj said the party was favouring the POTA to check terrorism.
"POTA is not anti-Muslim, it is anti-criminals," she said while criticising the UPA government for scrapping the act.
Addressing a meeting in support of BJP nominee Arjun Munda in Barhagora in Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, Swaraj also accused the UPA government at the Centre of failing to curb price rise and corruption.
